Advises on regional early learning sector, planning and licensing and on the management of the early learning network in accordance with the Early Learning Action Plan and the new regulatory framework for early learning. Assessment and engagement of prospective providers for new early centres in line with community need and national and regional priorities.

Responsible for managing and supporting community Teams of the Rainbow Corner Group and associated brands nationally to have robust quality management systems in place that are responsive to curriculum and compliance requirements and support high quality outcomes for children.

Engaging and supporting Learners. This includes meeting enrolment targets, facilitating the enrolment process, supporting learners during their enrolment period, design and delivery of online learning opportunities, assessing unit standard based modules of work, reporting on learner progress, peer moderation and review, evaluation and enabling successful outcomes for all learners.

• Supporting distance learners, using technology and innovative practice to engage them in the online learning environment.
• Provide safe, supportive, and inclusive study environments for all allocated learners.
• Competent and confident user of technology and eLearning platforms.
• Support and contribute the achievement of Government priorities ‘improving educational outcomes for all Māori and Pasifika learners enrolled in PORSE programmes and courses.
• Compliance with internal and external quality management systems, including NZQA and TEC.
• Assess unit-standard based materials.

Coaching and supporting Community Teams within the region to ensure high levels of performance and service delivery to Educators, families and children.

Maintain comprehensive records, data analysis and reports.

Oversee regional and community team marketing strategies in order to enhance working relationships with local community organizations and businesses.

To assist National Coach and Community Team Coaches with the on-going development and review of operational guidelines for the Programme Tutor (PT) role.

• Role modelling effective practice and assisting to guide new staff through induction process
• Providing technical support to Programme Tutor
• Supporting and encouraging Programme Tutors to develop a positive attitude, skills and knowledge required to meet the key performance indicators and tasks outlined as per job description
• Database entry and reporting
• Complete all paperwork accurately, working in conjunction with the Programme and Training Team to ensure homes meet MOE licensing criteria and are audit ready for ERO

Empowering adults (Educators, Nannies, Parents/Whānau) who touch the hearts and minds of children, to understand the importance of early brain development (human connection) and the benefits of one to one relationships during the early years of nurturing, care and education

• Engaging Educators and adult students to study, learn and deliver effective high quality Early Childhood Care and Education to children, whilst actively building and sustaining enduring relationships with families, colleagues and community groups
• To support educators in providing and maintaining safe environments for the children in care
• Work alongside educators to understand implement and maintain compliance with Ministry of Education licensing criteria and regulations.
• Understand the importance of Whanaungatanga and take time to build connections
• Encourage involvement of families in the PORSE programme, development and learning of their child
• Maintain open, honest direct communication with families in all matters.
• Provide business support and school educators in areas of self-promotion to enable all PORSE Educators to operate a successful in-home childcare education business.
