2. Safety Compliance: Ensuring all safety protocols are followed during drilling operations to prevent accidents and injuries to oneself and others on the worksite.

3. Equipment Maintenance: Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on the DTH drill equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition. This includes greasing, oiling, and checking for any signs of wear or damage.

4. Troubleshooting: Identifying and troubleshooting any issues that arise during drilling operations, such as equipment malfunctions or difficulties in reaching drilling targets.

5. Communication: Communicating effectively with other members of the drilling team, as well as supervisors and engineers, to relay information about drilling progress, challenges, and any deviations from the drilling plan.

6. Following Instructions: Following drilling plans, blueprints, and other instructions provided by supervisors or engineers to ensure drilling is conducted according to specifications.

7. Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of drilling activities, including drilling depths, locations, and any geological formations encountered.

8.Ensuring that the drilling activities for the mine are carried out to the highest standard and that drill plans are completed to schedule.
