My goal is to find a career that uses the skills and knowledge I obtained from my Associate Degree, which majored in Psychology. Offering support to people living with Mental Health issues or disability through a positive, safe and pro-social activity based framework.

Promotions Coordinator

As well as the Promotions Coordinator, I stepped into the position of Promotions Manager for three months and ran the department efficiently.

  • Collaborated with sales staff and department heads to plan marketing and promotional campaigns. Brainstormed and implemented creative event concepts and themes.
  • Managed administrative logistics of events planning, event booking, event expenditures, budgets and timelines and event promotions. Consistently looking into how the events and promotions would look and successfully troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  • Using KPIs to continually review the outcomes of all events, marketing campaigns, listenership, promotion success.
  • Dealing with external stakeholders such as clients/ sponsors, catering, musicians, activity companies.
  • Utilized internal databases to prepare and distribute guest lists, electronic invitations and registration processes.
  • Training existing employees to maximize team agility and performance.
  • Organized contests to excite potential consumers and build interest in new product offerings.
  • Solicited prizes for contests and maintained inventory for future promotions.
  • Set up and pack down promotional equipment, including marquees, domes, broadcasting/ technical equipment and anything else required.
  • Creating engaging social media interactions for Promotions and at events to increase station visibility and invite public interaction.
  • Delivered any other entertainment including performing as the mascot.
