Scaffolding Leadinghand / Supervisor

  • Again completing another project with Primero I joined the next project at the new PLS Lytium plant construction Part 1 & Part 2.
  • Entering into a project halfway completed I took role as scaffolding leadinghand and step up supervisor as there was already a supervisor on project (Back to back).
  • This role was nothing new just a new client and new crews but work as per usual.
  • Stayed on this project till project completion which was on 18th of July 2024.
  • Duties: Basically all the same as the previous project and to a high standard to meet all the clients and company goals for the project

Leadinghand / Scaffolding Supervisor

  • Finishing at the strandline project I joined the crew at the Covelant Lytium project and continued my work for Primero Construction.
  • Due to unforseen reasons I was stepped up into basically the fulltime role as the scaffolding supervisor and looking after all scaffolding requirements for the project.
  • This role was a bit more indepth but I felt I carried out the role without any hesitation and with all the knowledge and experience I have I feel that I went above and beyond in meeting all requirements asked of me.
  • Duties: Attend all management meetings
  • Relay all scaffolding requirements to Superintenents / Project manager
  • Ensure all requirements are met and all KPIs completed within time
  • Report any delays or hold ups directly to relevant personnel
  • Check and maintain all standards of work are continually met on a daily basis
  • Continuous monitoring of crews and rosters (FIFO)

Leadinghand / Scaffolding Supervisor

  • Joining Primero I decided to try and move with the same company as Primero had multiple projects for ongoing work.
  • My role here was as leadinghand to aid in construction of the Strandline sand minerals plant.
  • Duties: Report directly to scaffolding supervisors

  • Scope and measure any scaffolding requirements
  • Complete all required documents eg.. JHA Permits etc
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and concise manner

  • Coming from Fifo, wanted to try a local job so joining Waco this gave me that opportunity and in joining Waco at the Kwinana Power Plant in a demolition project in supervising a crew of 10 men.

  • Moving into the gas industry I joined the team at the Wheatstone Gas Plant project based in Onslow, WA.
  • A week into joining the team I was elevated to the position of Leading hand 7 plus, here I was put in charge of the running of crews varying from 3 to 18 members.
  • Main focus for myself on this project was to keep the crew on point in regards to safety and to keep the time frames with project time lines.
  • Main focus was the smooth running of all crews and report directly to superviors on the plate.
  • Duties: Supervise crews on the job
  • Organise all correct paperwork for task
  • Organise Permits for zones
  • Check all drop zones have been done
  • Check that correct PPE is available and on hand
  • Erect, Modify and Dismantle scaffolding

  • With my supervisory experience with A&R Scaffolding I was able to bring my skills and knowledge across to Pilbara Access.
  • I began with a 10:1 (Supervisor) position on ongoing shuts throughout the Pilbara region.
  • I was inducted and worked on BHP Yandi site and also Rio Tinto Camp Lambert and Rio Tinto Dampier.
  • From there I was offered a position to head inland and I have successfully completed major construction jobs for clients at the main port.
  • And the restructuring of the Dampier wharf.
  • As always safety is my main focus and priority these projects were carried out effectively and without any incidents.
