Possessing extensive clinical experience in the operating theatre and undertaking a variety of roles: advanced scrub and scout role in the areas of ophathalmology, ENT, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Gynae-Oncology. I have some Anaesthetics and Recovery experience. I have always been involved in training students and orientating new staff. I enjoy my current role in education and I am always striving to improve and maintain quality patient care in the Day Surgery Setting. My primary role now is education but I do manage to maintain my scrub and scout skills in theatre. I have just completed a two year secondment for CURA Day Hospitals facilitating a graduate nurse program in the peri-operative stream.
