I am a Registered Midwife with over 10 year experience. I graduated with honors from the University of Surrey, UK with a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery Studies in 2013. Since then, I have worked across a diverse range of acute and community environments both in the UK and Australia demonstrating expertise in all facets of midwifery and nursing. My current role as a Clinical Facilitator involves me providing comprehensive education, support and guidance on practice and clinical skills to aspiring and developing midwives, ensuring seamless transitions into autonomous practice. Additionally, I am a member of CQ university committee supporting the needs and supervision of student midwives and nurses. I believe my communication skills are one of my strongest assets, as well as being supportive and approachable which is essential in my role. These attributes mean I work well not just autonomously, but also as part of a multidisciplinary team building strong professional relationships.
