  • Strategic planning with different customer segmentation positioning was necessary to respond to the changing market, especially in the aftermath of the GFC, and the cutbacks to national health funding
  • As such, different markets were explored to penetrate, that derived funding from different sources
  • Participation in the submission of many state and national tenders each year, and it was imperative to know the market thoroughly, so the the correct products could be positioned and the correct pricing to maintain good sales and profits
  • As a senior member of the Australian business management team, I regularly presented at national and international business meetings and conferences, and held 'Guru Status' within the Perinatal Business Unit in Europe and SE Asia, where I was often called upon to provide up to date neonatal clinical expertise and knowledge to my global colleagues to further improve their understanding of the neonatal and pediatric environments
