  • As a SIN, I am able to do all AIN work, as well as take patients' observations for QADDS, which includes blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturations, temperature, behaviour and consciousness, and escalate patients' scores appropriately. I am also able to attain patients' pain scores and take patients' blood glucose levels (BGL). All patient observations that are assessed by myself, are always handed over to the registered nurse (RN) in charge of the particular patients care.
