• The primary role of this positon is to maintain the Good order and security of the facility as well as the safety of myself and those under my care.
• I have worked in a team of 3 to operate a unit of up to 64 prisoners.
• Units include; mainstream, protection, hospital and induction.
• Interviewing prisoners and inducting them into the different units.
• Managing case notes for individual prisoners.
• Providing aid in rehabilitation.
• Forming goals and deliverables for individuals.
• Monitoring individuals behaviours to ensure safety and security of the unit.
• Performing integrity checks on cells and unit facilities.
• Supervised offender work assignments and evaluated performance for compliance with standard regulations.
• Maintained order in the prison by monitoring inmate behaviour and intervening when necessary.
• Enforced prison rules and regulations while maintaining a safe environment for inmates and staff.
• Inspected cells and other areas for contraband and safety hazards.

Duties include:

• Working as a team to pick and pack fish and goods.
• Picked orders according to customer specifications, utilizing order sheets, pick lists, and item numbers.
• I worked in the freezer room, stocking and rotating goods.

My duties were:

• Worked on all stations, including the kitchen, grill, cashier, flat top, back of house, and cook.
• Ensured proper storage of food supplies to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
• Trained new staff in basic tasks, safety protocols, and kitchen standards.
• Maintained inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment needs.
• Cleaned dishes, pots, pans and utensils.
• Kept records of food waste to track usage levels.
• Coordinated with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely preparation of food.
• Liaising with customers to resolve issues and complaints.
• closing up shop end of day, cleaning and tidying.

• Duties included stacking aisles and restocking produce in store rooms as well as assisting customers
• Working at Coles has taught me the basics of customer service and the importance of time managment, such as balancing my workload in the time I was given in order to prioritoritse the most important tasks.
• I also worked in the cool room packing and organising dairy and meat products.

• Experience bettering my communication, problem solving, and leadership skills
