Patient assessment: i have learned how to assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities, mobility, and functional status to develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
Rehabilitation techniques: i have learned various therapeutic exercises, range of motion activities, and functional training methods to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.
Assistive device management: i have gained experience in assisting patients with using mobility aids such as walkers, canes, and wheelchairs, as well as other assistive devices to support their rehabilitation goals.
Pain management: Understanding techniques for assessing and managing pain in patients undergoing rehabilitation, including both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches.
Patient education: Educating patients and their families about their conditions, rehabilitation goals, and strategies for maximizing independence and recovery.
Interdisciplinary collaboration: Rehab settings often involve working closely with a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians. i have learned how to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive care.
