I worked as a bartender, kitchen hand, and primarily waitress at Pronto Sylvania for 5 months before leaving to travel in 2025. In this job I was responsible for creating a comfortable and seamless dining experience by welcoming and seating customers, taking booking via the phone and online booking systems, and providing attentive service. I had to display excellent multitasking skills within this role as both a waitress and bartender, and worked with fellow staff members from all restaurant areas to ensure all customers were satisfied with our level of service. I was able to deliver high-quality, friendly service in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment and ensured careful consideration and effective resolutions for customers concerns.

I was employed at the Hive Cafe for over 2 years until the cafes closure at the end of 2024. In working this job I was responsible for a variety of roles and tasks that ensured the smooth operation of the cafe. Some of my duties included making and serving coffee and other drinks, serving customers in a friendly, timely and accommodating manner, undertaking all opening and closing duties, cash handling duties and processing customer transactions, preparing food, maintaining a clean and organised working environment, and displaying a strong work ethic in a face-paced setting.

Whilst working as a dog groomer I was able to develop many skills that have assisted me with later work. I was able to develop strong relationships with our clients, and fostered a strong sense of trust in the quality of the services provided to their pets, maintained a high level of cleanliness in the salon to ensure the safety of all pets and staff, managed client bookings, and delivered exceptional customer service through consultations and discussions with pet owners.
