Recreational and Commercial Fisheries compliance across the South West of Australia. Duties included but were not limited to:

• Enforcing Fisheries compliance by means of patrols and inspections (land-based and at-sea) to avert/ identify illegal fishing.
• Conducted marine safety checks of vessels.
• Educated the community on Fisheries legislation to promote awareness of sustainable fishing practices, ensuring understanding with current fisheries regulations.
• Managing biosecurity risks.
• Working with the public, researchers, and industry stakeholders to develop and implement management strategies.
• Conducting investigations on illegal fishing activity.
• Coordinating overt and covert operations to detect and intercept illegal fishing activity.
• Training new officers and providing district/ regional knowledge.
• Operation of drones for operational purposes.

• Monitored pool activities to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Responded promptly to emergencies, administering first aid and CPR as required.
• Conducted regular safety inspections of equipment and facility areas to identify hazards.
• Trained new lifeguards on emergency protocols and operational procedures.
• Conducted water rescues.
• Undertook Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) training.

• Created customized tour itineraries based on customer preferences, customer experience levels, and seasonal highlights.
• Implemented safety protocols to ensure visitor well-being during rides.
• Daily care of 20+ herd of horses.
• Tacking/ un-tacking horses for rides
• Matching rider with their horse to ensure safety and overall enjoyment.
• Providing horse riding instruction to novice riders, guidance, and support throughout the ride.
• Managing school groups for days of horse education in and out of the saddle.
• Providing guests with information about the ASH's, Jesters Flat, and the region.
• Leading, trailing, or holding the sides of the group on horseback throughout the ride.
• Assisting with training and riding young/ green horses.
• Maintaining horse gear and equipment.
• Monitoring horses before/ during/ after rides for any signs of lameness, injury or illness.
• General farm maintenance.
