  • Lead, mentor and provide professional development to Wellbeing team. Implemented new recording and data collection format related to client interactions.
  • Collect data and write IESP (funding applications) for students requiring additional support. This is an ongoing role as thorough data collection is imperative for successful applications.
  • Teach Health as per Australian Curriculum, Foundation - Year 10, with differentiated instruction tailored to personalised learning goals
  • Identify training needs for staff members. Developed and conducted a training on differentiating learning tasks and working with young people with a disability or additional needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Disability, Mental Health and Wellbeing policies and frameworks, both departmental and externally researched best practice and methodologies. Wrote new Behaviour Support Policy, passed by Governing Council and implemented by organisation.
  • Developed strong professional relationships with both external agencies and Department for Education specialists. Relationships with organisations such as headspace, Centacare and SHINE SA have provided students with both face-to-face and telehealth appointments and onsite workshops.
  • Restorative practices. Worked with both staff and students to provide positive conflict resolution.
  • Trauma Informed Practice. Upskilled staff on Trauma Informed Practice, also use these skills to work with students within the school environment.
  • Worked collaboratively with students to hold a Whole School (K-12) Colour Run. This activity provided an inclusive event for both the school community and surrounding areas.
