In March 2022 I joined Accor as Director of Sales for Pullman Quay Grand Sydney, HYDE Hacienda Sydney and The SEBEL Quay West Suites Sydney. In January 2023 I was promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing overseeing a team of 6.
As Director of Sales & Marketing overseeing both hotels, my role and responsibilities consis of implementing and activating the sales and marketing strategy, from setting targets and managing budgets to developing the sales team, spearheading campaigns and leading a high-performing sales team.
My main role and responsibilities include:
- Managing the sales and marketing budget to develop and implement campaigns, promotions and strategies to achieve results, participate in yield management strategies
- Generate new brand partnerships to drive and achieve revenue budgets for accommodation, events and food & beverage
- Develop and manage both hotels key accounts with focus on leisure, corporate, entertainment and MICE business mix.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, prospect and research new business opportunities, strategy and profit planning
- Build and develop a high performing conference and events team be leading and mentoring
- Define both hotels business strategy as well as its executive and summarise in business plans
- Work closely with senior management and operation teams to proactively promote both hotels and venues
- Developing and overseeing sales and marketing team
- Work closely with marketing to develop and implement campaigns, promotions and collateral that aligns with the hotels / venue brand goals
- Work closely with PR Agency when appointed

My role and responsibilities in this role included:
- Create and drive email marketing for all market segments and campaigns
- Conceptualise and initiate major brand campaigns and partnerships
- Oversee social media channels
- Brief in digital marketing campaigns to agency
- Liaise with PR Agency to spearhead activations, media stays, influencers
- Develop and implement a detailed sales and marketing plan
- Set and review sales targets by market segments
- Secure and manage key accounts for all market segments
- Conduct regular sales and marketing meetings to review current and future rates, channel management strategies and communicate agreed actions

In 2018 I set up my own company after being approached by hospitality companies to work on sales & marketing projects. Over those 12 months I worked with Emirates One & Only Wolgan Valley, Regatta Rose Bay and Park House Food & Liquor (Sydney Collective).

My role, successes and responsibilities in this role included:
- Implementation and creation of two new websites for property + launch online cart
- Grown database from approx. 3,000 - 41,000+ with the implementation of subscriber
- Manage campaigns, ResDiary booking system, implementing a new database management
- Creation of social media pages - Instagram and Facebook
- Provide strategic direction for the hotel, set and execute marketing, PR and communication strategies, plans, programs and activations including creating the sales & marketing plan and budget
