Dedicated OOSH Coordinator with 4 years of experience ensuring compliance, promoting excellence, and empowering educators for impactful team development at Wesley OOSH.
As the centre coordinator of Epping West OOSH I have ensured strict adherence to National law and regulations and Wesley Mission's standards, maintaining compliance and exceeding practice of the service. Further I have managed day-to-day operations of the service by delegating tasks, setting priorities and goals and, communicating with the stakeholders of the service.
As part of my role I have recruited, interviewed and selected employees who align with Wesley mission's values and mission and have further provided leadership, mentoring and training to newly hired educators and coordinators to maintain high-quality care standards for children. As the educational leader of the service I applied knowledge of building respectful relationships, creating inviting environments, and making programming decisions that align with the centre philosophy, children’s interests and their developmental needs.
As an assistance coordinator at St Michael's COSHC, I was responsible for maintaining schedules and delegating tasks to team members. I collaborated with the team and other stakeholders to create an educational program with exceeding quality using the programming cycle.
I began working as an educator and team leader at Carlingford west OOSH centre in February 2020. In this role, I was given the responsibility to supervise and build meaningful relationships with students of all ages and interact with them through implementing the educational program. Additionally, I have experience as the Kindergarten and Year 1 coordinator at CWOOSH which required collaboration with educators to accomplish objectives such as the welfare and safety of the children while meeting the National Quality Standards.
As an eMentor for the Teach Learn Grow (TLG) programs 2021, I have been involved with mentoring primary school students about life skills and readiness to transition to their next stage of life in high school. This role has required great time management, and self-discipline in planning sessions and ensuring that the session outcomes are met.
