Shift Management

  • Work professionally in a number of areas including customer service, the kitchen and cafe as a barista.
  • Lead daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow, great service and efficient task completion.
  • Learn, manage and teach safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain workplace standards.

Rosters/Hiring Management

  • Co-manage the hiring and training process by scheduling and performing job interviews.
  • Organise and roster training sessions with new employees to ensure efficient onboarding.
  • Manage and create weekly employee roster.
  • Manage sick calls, shift covers and shift swaps amongst employees.
  • Oversee and manage the labour and employee hiring budgets.
  • Complete weekly payroll for all employees. Manage leave requests and part-time / full-time employee leave.
  • Manage employees' tax file number declaration forms, superannuation forms and other employee onboarding forms.


Product Quality Management

  • Perform inventory management through accurate stock tracking and organisation.
  • Complete twice-weekly orders of food and paper stock, office supplies, medical supplies, uniforms and chemicals.
  • Manage stock through fortnightly overnight stock counts.
  • Manage quality of stock and menu items by overseeing deliveries and production, and submitting claims for faulty stock items.
  • Oversee and manage the inventory budget.
