Summer for me is usually spent riding horses with my children. We compete in the sport of Polocrosse across the state and attend regular competitions. We are members of the Midland Spurs Polocrosse Club.
I am a Pony Club coach and regularly coach at Pony Club rallies as well as competitions.
My hidden skill is Announcing/Commentating, I get real enjoyment out of it and regularly attend Agricultural Shows and Equestrian competitions where you will hear me on the PA. Having knowledge of the sport and the riders helps me to give the audience an opportunity to understand the sport and often spectators will hear a persons name and stop to watch them ride. Keeping horse riding in the public eye is important and sometimes the only opportunity for people to see equines up close.
