  • Upon appointment, they had yet to break into the Melbourne Market. Within one month of commencement, the network was established, and a client base of $80K per month was created, which has grown to $150K in less than a year.
  • Airfreight was being sent three times weekly, and it has been reduced to once fortnightly.
  • Reconfigured the customer service role and team, implementing cut-off times and delivery routes.
  • Directly report to five warehouse staff members and three drivers nationally. As well as managing the logistics in and out of the warehouse.
  • I managed the HR for all of these staff members, from grievances to reviews.

Leading in their category, manufacturing key lines of Bocconcini, Ricotta, and Mozzarella, distributing all over the nation to national and independent supermarkets, food service, and leading cafes.

Establishing and maintaining contracts for key freight providers to enable the national distribution of products, developing and improving processes and systems to ensure the control of finished goods and packaging inventory, working with key customers from small food service and delicatessens to state-based and national grocery chains (Foodland, Drakes, Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Metcash, and others) to ensure the supply of products into RDCs, leading and developing members of the logistics team, working on projects to improve the business, ensuring the development of procedures and implementation of the same to improve safety performance, worked with and in GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) quality systems covering retail quality and food safety requirements for warehousing and packaging activities, in particular, SQF (Safe Quality Foods) and retailer certifications Woolworths and Coles (CFMSR), active member of the site sustainability team and working with packaging suppliers to improve the recyclability and sustainability of products purchased from them, taking orders directly from customers, ensuring accurate invoicing and credit management, working with supply teams across major retail groups to ensure product availability.

  • Manage all aspects of receipt, warehousing, transport, and distribution of La Casa's products, and drive a high-performance team.
  • Including the procurement of all packaging and ingredients, with the exception of raw milk, the warehousing, transport, and distribution of all finished goods will enable the national distribution of products produced by the company within budget.
  • Lowest turnover in the business, with a cohesive team.
  • Project lead for the implementation of RF scanning to improve WMS.
  • Maintaining supply to customers while managing a team split across dual locations as part of the transition from Glynde to Edinburgh Park.
  • A part of the sustainability team won the Sustainability Award at the premier food awards in 2022.
  • Training all staff in all roles to allow for business continuity.
  • Fifteen team members who directly reported to me. Management of the HR requirements for these staff members.
