  • Heart rate monitor by EKG sensor : Designed a working heart rate monitor to record EKG data by the NI myDAQ (Data Acquisition tool) to calculate heart rate. MATLAB was used to store the data and to calculate the average heart rate for a particular session. Further analyses were done on the data collected
  • EMG controlled robotic arm : Using Lego, built a robotic claw that I programmed in MATLAB to perform a demonstration. Moving pucks from one countertop to another without falling or stuttering was part of the demonstration. NI MyDAQ was used to collect data, and then MATLAB was used to filter EMG data to discover general or unique claw closure and opening threshold values.
  • Research on delivering drugs using contact lens : This was research for the second year's Biomaterials and Biomechanics unit. The goal of the study was to develop a new or existing Biomaterial for a contact lens that could deliver medications to the eye for an extended period. Our team developed a poly-HEMA-contact lens with a longer half-life that allowed the medicine to be given for at least 100 days.
  • Designing accessible ramp for MedTechVic : As a part of the MedTechVic in Swinburne, designed and constructed a portable ramp for wheelchair users visiting the facility in the university. The aim of the project was to make something inexpensive, portable and an easy solution to the facility. Our group designed a pinewood ramp for the project.
