Accomplishments

    Team Alberta - Field Hockey

    I'm honoured to have been one of the 16 chosen from among the around 70 females that try out for the squad each year. I was successful in making the team three years in a row, which helped me enhance my leadership and team abilities.

    2020 All Round Grade 12 Student Award

    I received this honour because of my ability to display leadership skills and handle all aspects of life. The seven criteria are: school workload, cooperation and attitude, class initiative, scholastic ability, ambassadorship, personal appearance and etiquette, and community involvement. The award also recognises volunteerism and leadership characteristics.

    Canadian Student Leadership Conference

    I was selected in September of 2019 from a group of 45 students in our leadership class to attend the Canadian Student Leadership Conference in Abbotsford, British Columbia,. This was a five-day conference where students from across Canada could enhance our skills in leadership and explore new ideas to help make our school and community a better place.

For three years in a row, I represented Team Alberta at the National Field Hockey Championships.
Volunteered as Funstix Field Hockey Coach at Field Hockey Alberta from May 2018 until July 2019.

I had been dancing competitively for 12 years in a variety of styles, which has helped me grow more comfortable performing in front of others. It's also given me the ability to lead and instruct younger classes.
