As an undergraduate studying music, I undertook some practical electives which included teaching music classes to primary level students. This was an experience I enjoyed immensely and, upon graduation, I established a private school for young learners, where I taught piano, singing, and various other instruments.

During this time, in addition to developing my teaching skills, I learnt many business and interpersonal skills which have served me well over the years. I quickly realized that for a business to thrive it was critical to establish and maintain a high level of trust with my student's and their parents. I continue to maintain personal relationships with many of my early students and their parents.

I further developed my business as the success of my first school provided the opportunity to open a second school, and I navigated the challenges of operating in different locations with an expanded staff.

Some time later, I decided to undertake a larger challenge, and and joined an English language school as managing director. My ability to establish trust and strong lines of communication was greatly extended in this role. With a larger staff of both Korean teachers and native English speaker teachers, I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, and I further improved my management skills, and my English language skills.

I also have a passion for cooking. I have entertained many people -, friends, family, and colleagues at dinner parties at my home, and participated in my children's school-organized  International social events and other events. During the COVID-19 lockdown periods, I established a home business through my online blog, preparing and delivering lunches for workers in my neighborhood. I also compile recipe and develop recipes which I share in my Instagram posts. I enjoy all aspects of food preparation and am very efficient at producing, serving, and clean-up. I learn quickly, and enjoy adapting newly acquired knowledge to improve my own skills.

Prior to leaving for Australia, I completed a Barista and latte art certification in Korea.
