Rozhin Teimournezhad

My name is Rozhin and I am currently a medical student for consideration of an internship spot into 2026. Having completed a wide array of placements across my time completing the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at Adelaide University, I feel as though I have developed a sound understanding and viewed a wide scope of different specialties, the differing ways in which they run, viewed many different ways that health professionals communicate and function, and this has helped me develop into an individual who is excited to put this into action next year as a potential intern. My current goals are to continue developing skills required to be a competent doctor and healthcare leader, which I have honed over my medical degree throughout my time working with Insight Global Health Group and across various roles and throughout my jobs/volunteering working primarily as a tutor and support individual. These include clear communication, being able to work effectively in different team environments whilst also being a reliable member of a team. I am currently keen to work in a critical care pathway and am hoping internship can bring me opportunities to continue to progress my learning and understanding in both this field, as well as more generally to better allow me to be a more capable and well-rounded doctor.
