3rd year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) student. I am seeking a position as a Civil Engineering intern. I have experience in managing residential construction from start to finish works and experience working as a cabinet maker and installer. I have a passion for construction management and working with CAD programs. I am interested in contributing my problem solving, teamwork and communication skills which I have developed in my education and work experiences into an internship position.

  • Conducted onsite work from foundation to handover on 2 double story duplex houses
  • Gained experience in a number of different areas including footing/slab pours and erection of steel and timber structural frame to interior finish works including plastering and finish carpentry
  • Developed communication skills by working with a variety of sub-contractors in co-ordinating them, outlining critical requirements of their service and bringing forth any mistakes in their work that need to be addressed
  • Gained knowledge in safety procedures in placement of temporary fencing, scaffold erection, bollards to redirect foot and vehicle traffic and use of PPE
  • Gained experience in communicating with a variety of different stakeholders including clients, engineers and sub-contractors
