I am an experienced school leader with a drive to continually maintain a strong and cohesive school community. I place a strong emphasis on the development of positive professional relationships and model what I seek to see in others. I believe that an ability to communicate with sincerity and honesty and within a timely manner is the cornerstone to maintaining positive relationships with families, staff, students and other key stakeholders. Good communicators can overcome obstacles and challenges and my leadership style is such that I build trust in others by forming relationships that are respectful, transparent, open and honest.
I am extremely hard working and expertly efficient. I manage my workload and meet deadlines. I set high but achievable targets for myself and others and favour a workplace where professionals work together to achieve a common goal. I celebrate success and provide opportunities for others to constantly improve their practice.
I advocate for continual improvement and seek out professional development opportunities for myself and others. We work in a complex industry and evidence-based best practice is key to getting the best outcomes for our students and ensuring compliance and accountability against Department of Education expectations.
I actively promote Frankston SDS and invite any opportunity to work collaboratively with other schools and/or to share our practice and learn from others.
