The Maintenance Manager role at St John Paul College has given me alot of experience across many different sections within the College. Below are some of the tasks and responsibilities i have undertaken-

  • 5+ years as a manager
  • Working from an online maintenance jobs portal called COMPASS within the college
  • Working in a college with 1100+ students and 100+ staff
  • Conducting weekly meetings with the Principal
  • Organisation of contractors for breakdowns and service work
  • Annual compliance requirements for the college, eg TMV,backflow testing, RCD trip timed testing and thermoscan on switchboards, Test and Tagging, Compliance testing on Fume Cupboards, Annual fire safety statements, 6 and 12 monthly servicing of all fire safety protection, quarterly pest spray treatments
  • Management of all waste services
  • Management of college bus fleet- 2 X 25 seats 3 x 12 seats
