• DEXA Bone Densitometry
• Maryvale private hospital inpatient and outpatient imaging (FUJI DR, OPG, and theatre)
• COMRAD RIS system and Inteleviewer PACS system.

Gained radiographic experience and fundamental skills/ techniques in a variety of areas including:

• General X-ray (Ward patients, GP patients, Outpatient clinic patients (e.g Cardiology, Urology) and Orthopaedic clinic out patients
• Mobile/ portable imaging in all areas of the hospital including the Neonatal unit, Cardiac unit, Critical care unit (ICU and HDU), Burns Unit and Ward patients who are too unstable to come to the department
• ED X-ray: trauma imaging/ modified X-ray techniques
• Occasional theatre screening (Theatre is a trained specialty at CMDHB)
• Fluoroscopy/ interventional radiography
• CR and DR imaging systems, in particular Phillips, Samsung, GE and Siemens
• Basic trouble shooting of RIS/PACS issues
• Health and Safety Representative for the Radiology Department
• Hand Hygiene auditor for the Radiology Department
• Participated in full time shift work (day shift, afternoon shift, night shift) and participated in the on-call roster
• Reduced exposure to radiation by aligning my radiographic practice/ imaging techniques with ALARA standards.
• Helped supervise, teach and assess medical imaging students of all year groups whilst they were at Middlemore Hospital for their clinical placements
• Self-managed CPD requirements as per the MRTB guidelines
