Clinical Support Nurse Emergency

Worked 0.6-0.7 eft across all student portfolios in ED providing clinical support and education to Critical Care students, Transition to Specialty Practice students and Graduate nurses. Assisted the ED Education Team to facilitate study days for each student portfolio, Grade 2 RNs and ED CCRNs. Mentored nursing staff through professional development opportunities, enhancing their skill sets and competencies. Currently assigned to the ED TSP portfolio.

From 2017-2018 provided clinical support for year one students participating in the 2 year extended post graduate course in Emergency affiliated with ACU.

From 2011-2016 also provided clinical support for graduate nurses working on the Paediatrics ward, 2W.
