My name is Kyah, and I am a hardworking, passion-driven educator who has been working in Early Childhood Education for nearly 7 years. I have spent the last 3 years developing strong leadership skills as a room leader of both nursery-aged children and preschool-aged children. Through my experience, I have learned how to effectively manage and support my team, guide, mentor, and train staff in a positive manner, and implement changes, face challenges, and build strong, collaborative partnerships with families and carers alike. I have a lot of experience using and implementing the EYLF V.2, as well as the NQF. I have lucrative experience helping several services prepare for and pass their assessment and rating. I am currently working through an educational studies course and will continue studying for my ECT and primary teaching degree.
