I went on a one month trip to Queensland, Australia and on this trip I was given the opportunity to learn about the country's wildlife, cultures, and environmental programs.
- I volunteered for and organization called Climate Force which is working on reforestation of the Daintree Rainforest.
- Sheoak Ridge Nature Reserve is another place I volunteered. I was able to learn a lot about the wildlife rescue system of our hosts Claire and Marcus.
On this same trip I also went to New Zealand for a month and a half. There, I worked on a cattle farm, immersed myself in the Māori culture and had unique experiences that gave me the opportunity to connect with nature.
