  • Note anything abnormal at time of examination/write clinical case notes at time of examination or shortly after, to ensure information is recorded accurately.
  • Confirm owners compliance, if they consent to treatment. Discuss any issue of affordability, provide estimated cost of treatment/s.
  • Equine care:
  • Bandage fetlocks, hocks, and tail to ensure protection, and cleanliness during long distance transportation
  • Wash, groom, make up horses feed/water according to energy needs, health supplements, hay nets, clean out manure, replenish sawdust in stables, clean autofill waterbowls (for 2 Thoroughbred Geldings and pony)
  • Tack for Advanced level competitor at Melbourne international 3 day Event, and Werribee Horse Trials.
