My name is Kyra Podmore.I am 16 years old. I have grown up in Shoalhaven heads, I went to Shoalhaven heads primary school where I was heavily involved in the school community, which included being Sports Captain and Minister for Functions and Charity, and also I was part of the school soccer team that made third in the state cup for soccer in 2018. I currently attend St Johns High School as a year 10 student. I have been involved in a wide range of Extra - Curricular activities, which have included representing the school in soccer, league tag and touch football. I have also been a member of the Student Representative Council (SRC) and various fundraising activities. My most recent involvement with the school community has been the Cross Generation Program helping older community members with Technology which was a very rewarding experience. I am currently studying Child Studies at school where I learn and engage in skills to learn how to work with kids from various ages. These skills include teamwork, and creativity. I have a passion for child care and would like to pursue a career in early childhood education. My current interests outside of school include league tag, which has helped develop my team building skills, and would help me to engage the primary school children in sporting activities. I have also have had significant experience with babysitting and have a lot of contact with younger children.
