Busking at Nundah includes me being disciplined in dedicating time and hard work to learn around 100 songs to sing and play guitar, so I can perform on most Sundays for 2-3 hours in the morning, and I then earn money by people tossing in coins or paper notes. Busking has strengthened my confidence and performance skills by regularly singing and playing guitar in front of diverse audiences. I developed discipline and time management through learning and maintaining a large repertoire of songs, and committing to consistent weekly performances. This experience enhanced my resilience and adaptability, as well as my ability to engage audiences and create a positive atmosphere. Managing cash donations also taught me responsibility, independence, and entrepreneurial skills, while turning my passion for music into a source of income.

• I worked at the canteen of my brother's rugby club, which is in Stafford. Working in the canteen has helped me develop strong customer service and communication skills while working in a fast-paced environment. I gained experience in teamwork, organization, and time management by preparing and serving food efficiently during busy periods. I also learned food safety and hygiene practices, and problem-solving when unexpected challenges arose. This role strengthened my reliability, resilience, and ability to stay calm under pressure, while maintaining a friendly and professional approach.

• I was paid to perform (sing and play guitar) here every second Friday of the week from 5 PM to 8 PM at Tannins Brew, which is a restaurant. It built consistency in preparing myself for the gig every second Friday. Performing at gigs has allowed me to build strong performance and stage presence skills, while developing confidence in engaging and entertaining audiences. I gained experience in teamwork and collaboration by coordinating with other musicians and event organizers, as well as adaptability in managing different venues, sound systems, and crowd dynamics. This role strengthened my time management, organization, and resilience under pressure, while also enhancing my communication, professionalism, and ability to deliver high-quality performances in diverse settings.
