I worked at McDonalds for 8-9 months, I leant so many new skills and met a lot of amazing people working there.
McDonalds is a great first job because it taught me so many basic skills you need for most jobs, I worked mainly in the front counter serving customers, but I also leant how to work in the cafe and as first receiver in the drive thru, and i learnt many other tasks.
Working at McDonalds really taught me how to communicate better with fellow employees and customers and it taught me how to work in stressful situations and allowed me to learn how to focus on my job and not be distracted by others.
Working at McDonalds I gained money handling skills with cash registers and efpos and time management skills with rosters and shift work.
Moving forward I would like explore other opportunities and skills in the workforce.
