For the past 3 years I have been working for an Insurance Builder on the Sunshine Coast. Starting as a Desktop site supervisor, I have progressed into a leadership role as the Queensland Make Safe State Manager. I am currently seeking employment within Construction or Insurance industry on the Sunshine Coast.

I am a qualified Carpenter with over 10 years' experience in the construction industry holding positions in both Australia and United Kingdom. I have completed my Cert III in Carpentry and Cert IV in Building & Construction. My apprenticeship was completed through a single employer, Davis Building Services. Specialising in new homes, extensions and renovations.

My partner and I moved abroad in 2014 with the goal to travel. Based in London, we were able to achieve our goal whilst gaining additional experience in a different .

During my time in the U.K I worked as a qualified Carpenter and gained experience working as a Joinery Fitter for Edgar & Co where I developed the competency in fitting high-end kitchens, wardrobes, libraries, offices and furniture.

Since relocating to the Sunshine Coast in 2016 I worked in the Residential and commercial sector, including shop fitting where I gained the experience of site management, overseeing upgrades to amenities at two separate shopping centre locations.

Since getting 'off the tools' in 2020 I have been able to broaden my knowledge in insurance and expanded my experience by managing a team of up to 14 staff.

I am an extremely reliable, honest and hardworking individual. I take pride in my work and attention to detail, ensuring my work is completed safely and to a high standard. I build strong work relationships to ensure all stakeholders are working towards the same goal, including onsite trades, clients and other team members. I understand the importance of working to a schedule, prioritising trade requirements and I have the ability to lead and support others when working to a deadline.

• One of my biggest achievements to date is completing an extensive renovation to our family home while maintaining my full-time requirements as a State Manager.
• I am now a Father to two young boys, have a passion for sport and enjoy playing golf.
