- All aspects of cattle management which involves mustering, branding, weaning, sires selection for breeding and bull selection for the yearly bull sale.
- There is a small team that I oversee to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Part of the role is using a skid steer bobcat and driving a HR truck for transporting feed and cattle.

- My role in the Balonne shire council is to look after the many kilometers of stock route throughout the Balonne shire.
- Facility inspections and maintenance on all the assets, pasture assessments on all the stock routes.
- I also perform baiting programs with landholders for control of wild dogs and feral pigs & also liaise with key stakeholders on the best practice for pest weed & animal control.
- I liaise with the local indigenous rangers on implementing pest weed control through chemical control and in the last few months undertaking a cultural burning program around the shire with a focus on bringing back & strengthening the native vegetation areas through cultural burning techniques.
- I do pest weed and pest animal identification and mapping through programs in the council.
- Part of the role is managing a significant project undertaking cultural burning grant funded project which involves leading a team to perform tasks within the grant guidelines, procurement of assets within the grant budgets and hitting specific KPIs of the grant framework.
- I have also been a part of another pest weed/pest animal grant funded project.
- I completed a training course to be the WH&S representative for our department.
- My role was to deal with WH&S issues and concerns, aiding with completion of paperwork and implementing policies and procedures within our department.
