ADF Long Tan Leadership award:
The Long Tan Leadership and Teamwork Award is an annual award presented to students in Australia, primarily in high school or senior years, who demonstrate exceptional leadership, teamwork, and community involvement. The award was introduced by the Australian Defence Force and is named in honour of the Battle of Long Tan, a significant event during the Vietnam War. I was awarded this as a year 12 student in 2024, a year in which I was the school captain.
