Through my working life being since I was 14, I have learnt lots about being in the workforce. A few different careers over the years have helped shap me into the person I am today as I have been able to take so much from each of these paths. Firstly being a kitchen hand at a younger age gave me skills in food preparation, health and hygiene practices, cooking, being a team player, working under pressure and working with all kinds of people. Secondly being a team member and manager at Bunnings Warehouse Taylor's beach gave me a chance to pursue management role which including delegating and leading team members with guidance and support in providing customer support and service, quick and efficient stock replenishment and communication skills amongst workers. This opportunity helped me learn also a lot about the trade industry as I was able to help tradesmen with there needs with materials. This then helped me pursue work within the construction industry starting up as a concrete labourer for Plant concrete and civil. I have gained worlds of knowledge in the field of concreting including formwork, steel fixing, reading plans, excavation, concrete finishing, teamwork, proper manual handling and landscaping. Each of these careers have helped me become a more confident worker within any workplace.

I would like to continue to learn and grow in the construction space as I feel I can provide a great attitude and work ethic towards being a solid worker. Safety is also an important factor which I would like to continue practicing in my next role also.
