Date of birth 1999-09-02.
A motivated, hard worker with excellent communication skills. Being trustworthy, energetic, reliable and creative are all traits that I think are crucial to have in a workplace, and these words that I believe describe me perfectly. In my spare time I love travelling, being outdoors, listening to music, playing sport and socialising with my friends.
Throughout my studies, I have completed 5 placements at various education settings, including a rural/regional placement on the Great Ocean Road. During these placements, I was able to further develop my behaviour management and time management skills, as well as creating and implementing engaging and effective lessons.
Throughout my time at Silverton Primary School, I have had the opportunity to complete 2 of my placements, including my final GTPA placement, where I took full control of a year 5/6 class for 4 weeks. I also completed a Permission To Teach role where I took over the role of a specialist and classroom teacher for 4 weeks. This role required me to interpret, adjust and plan lesson to teach to students across the whole school, whilst taking into consideration the diverse learning needs for each student. Working closely with other classroom, specialist and leading teachers, I was able to build my collaborative working skills, I further built my confidence in being the sole classroom teacher, and further develop my lesson planning and implementing skills.
Playing sport, listening to music, socialising with friends and family, and being outdoors.
