I'm an enthusiastic mariner with 4 years experience in the industry since working at Pennicott Wilderness Journeys and Bilge Rats Marine. I also have many hours of recreational experience being the former owner of a 46ft Ketch which I sailed extensively around southern Tasmania with. I have had years of volunteer experience operating small rescue RIBS and mark laying vessels for the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania. With this experience I excel in small boat handling and adaptability under varying conditions. My experience at Pennicott Wilderness Journeys as a deckhand has allowed me to develop my skills working in challenging offshore conditions whilst being responsible for passenger safety, as well as having a clear head and maintaining positive morale onboard during challenging situations. Pennicott WIlderness Journeys has also given me lots of experience using winches and heavy lines to assist with beach landings onboard the 12M catamaran that ferries people to the beginning of the Three Capes Track in Port Arthur.
