- Installation of domestic wall mount split system air conditioning units and full house ducted air conditioning units. Duties include complete solo installation of wall mount split systems, hanging/mounting of ducted indoor units in roofs and under floors, neatly running and supporting ductwork to allow for efficient and effective operation, marking and cutting out holes for supply and return air grills.
- Installation of VRF/VRV air conditioning systems on commercial sites. Duties include installation of copper pipework in roofs or under buildings, applying neat bends to pipework for a neat look, and brazing copper pipework together.
- Maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems. Duties include basic service work on split systems, such as cleaning filters, cleaning coils, cleaning fans, and testing drains.
- Duties also include fault finding and testing of mechanical and electronic components inside air conditioning systems to determine faults and how to repair systems.
