I am delighted to introduce myself as a versatile individual with a range of experiences and interests. I was born in Sri Lanka, where I spent my early years before moving to Australia.
I have always had a deep passion for sports and the sporting sector which is why i chose to be a swim teacher/instructor, where I developed my communication and leadership skills while teaching children how to swim. Since then I have started university and wanting more hours I started to become a lifeguard and loved helping patrons and the feeling of looking after their safety, after an year of lifeguarding i was given the opportunity to become a Duty Manager at multiple centres which I am currently working as.
Currently, I am in my final year at Deakin University, studying for a Bachelor of Sport Development. , and I'm excited to contribute to the industry by combining my academic knowledge and practical experiences.
I also play competitive soccer for Baxter Soccer Club in Frankston, where I have learned teamwork, discipline, and dedication.
Overall, my experiences and interests have shaped me into a well-rounded individual with strong communication skills, adaptability, teamwork, and a passion for sports and DIY projects. I am eager to bring my skills and enthusiasm to any workplace, learn new things, and make a positive contribution to the team.
