I am a passionate and results-driven public health postgraduate student and medical graduate with over six years of clinical experience and a strong academic record, currently in my third semester of the Master of Public Health at CQUniversity with a GPA above 6 (High Distinction average). My combined background in medicine, public health research, and community health engagement equips me with the skills to contribute effectively to multicultural health programs at South Western Sydney Local Health District.
I have extended my medical and academic expertise into health promotion and research, including:
These experiences highlight my capability in academic research, policy analysis, program development, and evidence-based practice, all of which are critical for addressing health inequities among culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
As a member of the Public Health Association of Australia, I am actively engaged in advancing public health knowledge and practice. I also hold an NVQ certificate in Microsoft Office and have strong analytical and reporting skills with SPSS and Jamovi, enabling me to effectively manage, interpret, and present health data. My interest in community health, multicultural engagement, and Indigenous medicine reflects a genuine commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive health care.
With a solid grounding in medical knowledge, public health systems, and health promotion strategies, I bring both clinical insight and academic excellence to this role. I thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments, and I am eager to support SWSLHD in improving health literacy, equity of access, and culturally competent service delivery for CALD communities in South West Sydney.
