Charted accountant enriched with almost 15 years of experience in Industry and Practise. Started my career in Big 4 (KPMG) and worked my way to managing and leading audits of major clients in the 5 years with the firm after which moved to Industry as Finance Manager setting up Asset Finance company in Fiji and number of other Pacific Island countries.
In 2016 moved to Australia and in order to upskill myself with Australian reporting complexities joined Big 4 (Deloitte) Financial services team and in the 2 years with the practise developed sound knowledge of Banking and Super in Australia leading audits and target reviews of large financial service institutions in Melbourne and Sydney. Since 2018 i have had the opportunity to be part and also to be driving a number of key activities such as leading an outsourced finance team offshore, delivering onshoring through switching from a team of 26 offshore to 15 onshore hires and training them, setting up hybrid working, developing new solutions driving efficiencies for NAB such as an automated journal posting tool, improving Intercompany and bring forward close from BD10 to BD6, developing stand out dashboards in Tableau and Power Bi to provide insights and improve Finance activities.
