PURCHASE ORDER MANAGEMENT

  • Raise and process all purchase orders in line with planned in store dates and promotional events.
  • Mange all item details on Futura. Mange and own the accuracy of all purchase orders. Eg. Ensuring Units, price, pack size, supplier, payment terms, RRP, etc. are correct.
  • Maintain purchase orders and ensure Planning has signed off prior to order placement with supplier.
  • Ensure all sales confirmations are returned and signed from suppliers within a timely manner.
  • Communicate all barcode information to suppliers and approved before mass production.


PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

  • Work with the Product Team to ensure all samples are requested, approved, and maintained in the appropriate sample room location.
  • Ensure all product fits in packaging with the correct description and barcode information.
  • Ensure the assortment plan is kept up to date at all times – Price, pack size, FOB, supplier, description, etc. changes.
  • Work with other members of the Product Team to ensure all product libraries and Visual Range Plans are kept up to date.
  • Ensure the Service Desk is answered within 2 days and with a professional manner.
  • Work with the other members of the Product Team to ensure all products are tested within company guidelines.


PRODUCT EXECUTION

  • Manage the WNIS process and online descriptions, ensuring all are complete before the launch new or updated product.
  • Manage the photography of all new and updated product, ensuring that every item is photographed, filed and resized.
  • Ensure each product is live and accurate on website in line with in-store launch.
  • Manage and pack samples for seasonal photoshoots and marketing campaigns.
  • Assist Snr Product Developer in the end-to-end process of delivering product to stores – sampling, testing, packaging, educating team members, planning, marketing and VM co-ordination.
  • Manage sample delivery timelines and ensure sample tracking document is up to date at all times.
  • In collaboration with Snr Product Developer, work with Graphics Team in the development of artworks for product, packaging and manuals to meet deadlines. Manage internal sign-off process before sending print-ready files to supplier.


SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS

  • Maintain and build mutually successful relationships with all internal and external suppliers.
  • Ensure all orders and updates are communicated to suppliers in a realistic time frame.
  • Respond to all supplier queries directed to you.
  • Ensure that all information required for key departments are provided in time for internal and external deadlines to be met; This includes, but is not limited to, packaging development, product testing, photography, marketing, online and catalogues.

  • Styling: Giving customers guidance on how to style items, suggesting products they should try on and buy and providing tips on formal and casual looks.
  • Textile and product knowledge: Demonstrating a high level and understanding for textiles, fabrics, the range of menswear products that the store consists of and how to sell to customers through knowing the benefits of these products.
  • Opening store: Making sure all products/garments are presentable, cash counting on the till, collecting dust, vacuuming the store and sanitizing surfaces/windows/mirrors.
  • Carrying out tasks such as customer service on registers, store and phone assistance, transferring products out of store to other stores.
  • Stock Management: Ticking off all stock that has arrived, making sure nothing is missing, placing new stock in designated areas of the store.
  • Managing store: As the store is on the smaller side, I had the responsibility of running the store alone. Therefore a lot of multitasking is involved as I assisted any customers that came in, while taking phone calls, neatening up the store and answering emails or completing banking.
  • Closing Store: Assuring all products are put back in place and presentable for next opening day. Shirts are sleeved, surfaces are cleaned and sanitized and floor is vacuumed. Kpi’s and budget is noted and sent to the area manager, and cash counting/ eftpos settlement is completed.
  • Reaching KPi’s and Budgets: Making sure I demonstrated excellent customer service and satisfaction through a positive mindset, pushing promotions and offering quality styling advice for customers, to meet the store budget.
