Lars Trinder

My role was to assist the schools AEO (Aboriginal education officer) with planning and creating culturally safe and educational activities centred around different aspects of Aboriginal and Torres strait islander culture (art, cooking, weaving, storytelling and sports). I assisted with planning and setting up events (such as sorry day) and creating artworks to display. This year i have worked in the schools preschool, assisting the teachers and children as well as planning weekly activities centred around culture.

During my time at tafe i have completed my work placement at explore and develop penrith.
