  • Preparation of annual budgets and cashflow forecasts collaboratively with the input from management
  • Maintain and review forecast with actuals spreadsheets promptly identifying and communicating significant variations or areas of concern to management.
  • Identify and investigate variances against budgets and provide a detailed analysis of the variation.
  • Verify precise entry of all creditor invoices and generate a comprehensive report for Management, outlining the weekly payments that require processing.
  • Undertake the responsibility for cash management, thoroughly reviewing cash flow and engaging in discussions with the Managing Director to address any concerns that may arise.

  • Preparation of comprehensive management reports on a monthly/quarterly basis featuring a detailed analysis results and variances to budgets/previous years. These reports are routinely provided to shareholders.
  • Ensure thorough organisation of all accounts, reconciling each balance sheet account with source documentation. Facilitate a seamless handover to the external accounting agency for the preparation of annual tax returns and financial statements.
  • Preparation of monthly PAYG and quarterly BAS returns in strict accordance with ATO legislation.
  • Validate End of Financial Year (EOFY) Income Statements for employees, ensuring accurate details, and finalise submissions with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) prior to the reporting deadline.
  • Ensure Tax compliance as required by State and Federal legislation.
  • Maintaining compliance with statutory legislation, accounting standards, internal controls, company policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely and accurate information in response to customer inquiries.
  • Administering the on-site archiving facility including attending to client queries and the retrieval and re-lodgement of client archive boxes
  • Maintaining employee records in relation to payroll matters. Processing of fortnightly payroll for approx. 25 employees, issuing payslips and ensuring pay run data is submitted to the ATO via Single Touch Payroll.
