This role included making coffees and other drinks in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining high quality and consistent beverages for the customers. An important aspect of this role is building relationships with regular customers memorising orders and names to ensure a positive experience. I would often work alone or along side another staff member making coffees and preparing sandwiches, toasties and cakes.

In this role we would prepare coffee, smoothies and many coffee alternatives in a fast paced environment. This position had the expectation of a coffee all rounder. Preparing food, cabinet displays, coffees, smoothies, açai bowls. The barista was responsible to oversee and step onto the floor often to run food and coffees whilst maintaining a clean and tidy environment.

This role included driving an old coffee truck and setting up on the beach. Mostly working alone. We would prepare coffees and smoothies in a very small space.
