I am a time served and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistance (PCA). I pride myself to assist and approach person-centred care as it helps to fulfill holistic client’s comprehensive goals. Also, keeping places clean & tidy, participating, and assisting with community participation as per client needs. Assisting with transporting clients’ needs especially with their medical appointments. I know various methods of manual handling techniques to transport patients safely and comfortably in during attending their personal hygiene as well as competent with different sorts of full sling/ stand up lifter with the help of hoist within my scope of practice. I am well trained and follow all the relevant health and safety rules and organisational regulations. Additionally, seeking an extra opportunity in different innovative health care facilities with supportive team for positive outcomes with transferable and interpersonal skills earned from my previous work experiences which can be benefitted in my perspective work. The PCA/PCW is accountable to the Registered Nurses and the Residential Manager for providing person-centred care to the residents in the residential facilities.
