  • Contribute to the effective administrative and operation of the Minerals & Energy Section in accordance with CLC policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the Regional Services section to organize logistics and catering for community meetings and work area clearance, among others. This may include coordinating the transportation of TOs and constituents, care & use of camping and related equipment, provision of meals and other task as directed.
  • Work with the MEOs to ensure dissemination of notifications to communities for work relating to the Minerals & Energy Section. Proactively engage with constituents to find out whether they will attend specific meetings, and coordinate any transport or purchase orders required.
  • Establish and maintain effective reporting procedures including email, a regional work calendar, work plan, a work diary and using the eDIS document management system.
  • Support the MEOs to budget for, and administer payments relating to, CLC meetings for the assigned region. This includes preparing cost estimates for meeting, preparing cost statements for recovery of costs from companies, arranging sundry payments for TOs, rasing purchase orders & processing invoices.
  • Establish good working relationship with other operational sections within the CLC.
  • Other duties that are safe, legal, logical and responsible while being within limits of employee’s skill, competence and training consistent with the classification structure.
