Leah Fletcher

I am currently a Volunteer but I assist the keepers with a lot of their jobs such as:

• Preparation Of Animal Food
• Cleaning up after animals
• Feeding Animals
• Providing Enrichment
• Capturing and restraining animals
• Training on Animals

I am currently a Team Leader once a month at Healesville Sanctuary. So, I help make sure all volunteers have their jobs for the day and that there is always someone around to help with our tasks such as:

• Greeting visitors
• Monitoring Birds
• Informing guests about the birds
• Providing Enrichment for the birds
• Helping Guests with navigation

I am currently a supervisor and so I am good at delegating tasks to making sure deadlines are met. I am a very good team player and am happy to do whatever I can to help. I can do a lot of different tasks such as:

• Serve over the bar
• Handle Money
• Pour Drinks
• Bottling
• Brewing
• Cleaning
• Managing Staff
• Planning Production

Thanks to this job I am very good at handling high-stress situations and working under pressure. I have also greatly increased my communication skills after working with other staff members and with customers.
